How to tell boys vs girls when they are young???

here's my male he was hatched in aug of 2010

Here's a couple of my girls hatched around the same time as the male

she has the smaller markings around her eyes! I love them, I only have one who is like that, makes it much easier to tell her apart from the rest, LOL.

Does anyone have any tips on tagging them with a leg band of some sort?? I want to band the one I am keeping so I can tell them apart a lot easier and when I let them back out I'll know who is who.

I'm in northern California and would be interested in your peas. How far north are you?

I'm about 45 minutes north of San Fran. I think were selling them for $100 for the full grown males and $50 for the females, that seems to be what they sell for around here, don't know if that is cheap or expensive... but that's what the others I've seen for sale are for.

What ones would you be interested in? I have 4/6 females caught that I'm selling and the 2 males. The other 2 females seem to be MIA right now, smart birds lol!
