okay...i'll try a differant angle then.....what is an EE? A MUTT. any bird crossed with a blue egg layer is an EE. EEs can lay Blue, Green, Brown, White, Pink eggs. For example if a breeders has a Brown Red Ameraucana rooster and Rhode Island Red hens ten the offspring will probably lay an army green egg, this is an EE. if a breeder crosses a true Ameraucana with an Araucana then the offspring will be and EE. If a breeders crosses a true ameraucana of one color variety with a true Ameraucana of a different color variety then they are technically true Ameraucanas but a responsible breeder will see them as EE since they are not one of the 6 recognized colors. If an Ameraucana breeders is working to develop a new color variety then until it is accepted by the APA and/ABA is is technically an EE.
