how to tell what chick are easter eggers?

I've not seen an EE that has actual tufts like the Aracaunas. Mine that have muffs/beards have usually had them from the start. Sounds like your girl just might be growing the feathers that go over the upper earlobe? Can you get a pic?

Are you wondering the gender? If so this is definitely a girl. Boy EEs don't have this particular pattern, it's a very common, feminine pattern. Female EEs tend to have very smooth shading and blended colors while males are more "patchy" looking and will typically have dark red brown coloring in their shoulders. :)

Lol that is a screen shot from a post a few weeks back. Thank you for the reinforcement! What I'm wondering is those feathers on its ears they are longer than what I would expect for regular ear feathers.

HI I boughtt my EE from Rual King back in Oct some were blond some were chipmunk like. They just started laying this week beautiful green and blue eggs! two of them look fancy with the muff the other 3 have a comb. Very nice and I am a first timer, they did very well in florida winter we had a few nights that had 30 degree temps. I purchased 5 2day old chickes and now have 5 laying hens and they did tell me they were sexed and were all hens. This has been a great experience!
