Hi there! I have this big pond that I want to see my ducks using, but I only want them to free range for 1-2 hours a day. I need a easy plan on how to train my ducks to come when called(and out of the pond which might be hard). If you guys any ideas let me know! Thanks for the help!!!

Anybody have any ideas? To make it clear: in the afternoon I let the ducks free range for 1-2 hours. I am hoping they go on the pond in that time. Then after the time is up I need to get them back in there run without having to chase them around. Also I like them in there run and am hoping they go back in it.

If you want to start getting them to come when called find a bowl with a lid I use plastic butter bowl. Put dried mealworms in it and go stand where you want them to come to. Shake the bowl and whistle. Doesn’t have to be a tune just similar each time this is the way I trained mine to come when called
Yep - that's the trick - same bowl, treats and same words (or whistle lol) every time! I trained mine to come in at night with meal worms and 'night-night'.

Do I need to start training in there run so they get used to the idea? I will feel more comfortable if they get used to the idea then me just throwing them out and not knowing what me calling them means.

Yes start at short distances then as they start to know what you want increase distance.
Ok that sounds good!!! We still need to push there coop up against the run so I will begin training when that is done. Every morning and night I have to put them in a fence and guard them to and from the coop. I really don't want to confuse them with the transport from the coop/to the coop and the training of calling.
