How to treat my chicken using tylosin powder...

You're most welcome!
The rest of the flock likely caught the same issue so I would 100% treat them.
I'm not sure if there's an egg withdrawal or not.
I also have no idea about refrigerating the Tylosin water, I'm going to guess you shouldn't? But, I don't know.
Torpedo feeding isn't hard and good for those who don't like tube feeding.
Ok sounds good. Thank you. I'll do some more research on tylosin to find out more. Thanks for all of your help! Have a great evening! ❤️😴🐔

Tylosin has no egg withdrawal time is actually one of few drugs approved for chickens. Dosage is 1 tsp per gallon, or 1/4 tsp per quart. I would just mix it up as needed. Change it every 2 days.
Thank you. Will do. If I treat the rest of my flock the package recommends for consecutive 7 days. Should I follow that recommendation? Also I guess I'll just mix as needed. Or change every 2 days like you recommended. Thank you. Also attached is a pic of the package of tylosin powder that I bought. Hopefully it's okay.

Also I have another question. If I do decide to treat the rest of my flock do I only provide the Tylosin water to them or can I provide another water feeder with the Tylosin water? Also I heard you need to provide a probotic for the chickens while taking Tylosin. Is this true? If so, what do you recommend for a probotic?

@Eggcessive my girl does not like the water. I’m guessing it’s bitter. I tried adding juice and sugar. Any ideas on what the daily dose would be if I tried to torpedo and how would I make a torpedo?

I haven’t heard of chickens not drinking the Tylosin water. It is only 1 tsp per gallon of water. Sick chickens don’t drink a lot of water anyway. You can try putting some of the treated water in a small amount of feed (mixed fresh a couple times a day) as well as her drinking it.

Thanks! I thought it may be bitter tasting. I will make her some mash with the water tomorrow. She is eating like a pig, which is normal for her.
