How to wake up your german shepherd

That's a funny story!

I wake my dog up by saying daddy's home - dad being MY father. He doesn't live with me, but we used to live with him. This gets my dogs racing for the front door. Usually one slips on the hardwood floor in the process

I like your name for bad guys! We call dogs, dobbie. No idea why. We are weird that way I guess.

Our GS Tyler can do no wrong as far as the dogs are concerned. He plays hard with Jax, the sable and sleeps on top of Kane, the bi-color. On Friday, the day before Tyler came to visit with us, we told Jax "Tyler's coming!". He checked at the window all day Friday and was estatic when Tyler showed up Saturday morning. To Jax and Kane, Tyler is a Puppy for them to love.

When I say that to Kane (meaning my husband) Kane will sit at the window, even if it takes an hour or more before hubby gets home.

Dogs are so smart! My little corgi mix KNOWS when you are expecting someone. He senses it somehow. Darn dog. He will bark at every car passing until they FINALLY get here and see him.

I taunt him with promised visits to his BFF Cody (a GS). That is his last dog friend.

My dog was attacked between two dogs and hates any new dog that comes into his life. The ones he met before the attack are still his friends, but a few have passed, so it's just Cody...
