Oh - it's a Yahoo group, great community of folks in NC with Chickens - great place to get info and just be in touch about local poultry related stuff. There are quite a few folks from Raleigh on it, so I was wondering if you were one of them. A few are planning to carpool for the Henside the Beltline Tour de'Coops this year!

I have one BR in my flock here, I love her - she's great! She's my top girl I think, and she's also the most friendly!

all right would a staggered hatch by a few days be that bad I mean it is only a day or two and my flash light died and she won't stop the pecking I don't even know how I am going to separate her from the others with out missing a few fingers.

LOL - sorry! I don't know what to tell you... she might abandon the 'leftover' eggs if the babies from the 'first' batch are ready to go out and about before they start hatching... Good luck...
