Brainstorming ideas of a better way to sell feed to make it more convenient for the customer. Bags seem like a bad idea for storage? Does everyone drop the bag into a trash can of some sort to keep other rodents away?

I open the bags and pour them into metal trash cans. This keeps all the vermin out.

Metal trash cans are what we use, they keep rodents OUT...rats can chew through a plastic can...and raccoons and other critters can't seem to smell feed as well in a metal can.
Bags are just for transport as far as we're concerned.

I just open the bag and scoop food out when I need it. Other than the occasional mouse in our garage we don't have rodent issues. It's easy to lift up the bag and pour out the last bit of feed. I couldn't see myself bending over into a garbage can to get feed when its running low in the can.
