How Would You Feel If This Happened To You? HAPPY UPDATE!!

If it were me, I'd be making at least one call the this seller & note the date/time/etc of the message left for them or the person talked to. After 2 wks of no repsonse to emails, I'd be hard-pressed to call more than 2 or 3 days in a row. If I still received no response, I'd out them on a post (if that's allowed on this site) & include the emails, etc and ask them if they'd care to respond to that. Of course you'd have to mail them a link to the thread. If that isn't allowed here, I'd definitely make waves and start posting on Craigslist in the city they live in. Post in 'farm & garden,' 'general,' 'pets' and even 'rants & raves' to let people in that area know what kind of person this is. But make sure you state ONLY the facts, no name-calling. You could include e-mails there as well, just 'x' out your personal info.
But that's just me...

Naming the seller publically without knowing what is going on is irresponsible. That being said, PM me their name.

I'd have tried calling them FIRST before doing anything else. I can think of a couple of reasons why they might not have responded to e-mails.

Take these things in order. If they've been in business for a long time and have been reasonable in their communications before I'd first assume that something went wrong that might have been out of their knowledge or beyond their control before I'd assume they'd intentionally tried to rip me off.

Give the seller a chance first. Pick up the phone and call them.

I live in WI, I believe IN is only 2 hours ahead of you, I could be wrong and its 3 hours ahead, but not several.
If they don't answer, call 2 or 3 more times, over the course of a few days.
Then GO to your post office and talk to them, since what you ordered would be shipped via the post office, it would seem to be mail fraud.
Also contact the police dept in that person's town, you can find it by googling their town or city, it usually leads to a website for the town, and you can find
their police dept through there.
You need to be pro-active about this, start calling today, its 9:30 here so they are open AND up unless the person works second shift, but some one would be home
and perhaps an employee OR the office is open if its a larger operation.

Give them a call. Maybe their computer died on them. I hope they answer and it gets settled quickly. Good luck!

GOOD NEWS!!! I called and it is all WELL! There was an issue with emails (I think my emails went into their junk file). Anyhow, they were having health issues in the family as well, so that explains alot.

They were very nice and were apologetic over not responding! Actually got to talk to them for almost 1/2 an hour! I feel so much better and I am sooo glad it is resolved! Only stinky thing is I have to wait till APRIL to get the chicks! HOW am I gonna wait??

Guess it pays to be proactive and actually pick up a phone!!

Thanks to everyone who showed support and encouragment.

So all the emails before you placed the order arrived in the inbox and were seen, but all the emails after payment was sent went to the junk folder? That doesn't make any sense to me.

That is easier to do than it seems.

I will get a lot of emails at once from a certain chicken forum owner and as I am saying "yeah yeah yeah" and hitting delete delete delete report-spam delete delete

then a few days later I get an instant message "WELL!!!?? Did you get my email yesterday?"
