I just wanted to drop in and intro myself. I've kept a small flock of chickens for years, mostly for eggs, but as I get older I'm starting to enjoy them more as pets than anything. I've had several breeds over the years in the quest for a favorite. However I was recently introduced to the Orpington, and Ive gotta say that they fit the bill. I started with 3, but I'm hoping to get a few more soon.

and Welcome to BYC! There are some big Orpington threads on the Breeds, Genetics and Showing section, that might be a good place to find sources for the orps you are looking for..
