I'm active duty military, and this will be my second flock of Chickens (the first ended in a very steep learning curve about predators, new dogs, chicken suicide via fence and self drowning in the rain, etc). My husband and I just fell into keeping chickens, and now I can't think of a better hobby! I've got my incubator arriving tomorrow, and my first ever fertilized eggs next week.
We're starting on our new and improved (and please chicken proof) Chicken Coop here in the next couple weeks. I've been a stalker on this site for a few months now, and am really looking forward to being an active member!
