Until two years ago we had a nice little flock of aging, but productive, hens. Eventually they all passed on. Since then my health went a bit south and an enormous portion of an oak tree fell and crushed my chicken coup/tractor. (I liked that thing!)
Anyhow, I feel it's time to get back into the birds! Having an unused A-framed, roofed yard swing, that will soon be converted into a fixed coup for three to four birds, (3 most likely). As summer goes on, and I get my teenaged son away from his computer to help with the work, I may be hitting y'all up for where to get some young birds.
Meanwhile, if I can be of use, just holler!
