Hows everyone fending during the outbreaks?

Where is Midgard?
We usually have 8-12 rolls of TP on hand so we should be OK.
We also have lots of food and roosters to butcher.

I’m a Marvel fan, and Midgard is what the Asgardians (Thor) call earth. But within Midgard, I am from Virginia.

My chickens are not food, they are pets, but I hope it doesn’t get to the point where I have to consider eating them (I doubt it will). They’re like my babies.

It is very unlikely to hit that point. Plenty of stuff is around and getting made and shipped, just a little slower and getting picked up a little faster. That means it's handy to have a little extra on hand but not a big deal.

I'm an advocate for only stocking up on the things you'd be using in the next few months anyhow. So like, we got cans of black beans (which we were out of), tomatoes (we were low on), rice (we were low on), and a few other miscellaneous items. And we only got one of each and moved on.

No confirmed cases here yet. (NS Canada) They only just started quarantining people. 2 of my husbands coworkers were taken out of the office today to go into quarantine. One of them he spent the whole day working closely with, so all of our plans for March break are canceled. We were supposed to visit the inlaws who have immuno-suppressant meds and they work as palliative care for a 98 year old family friend. As of right now schools are still scheduled to reopen in a week, but I won't be sending my kids even if they are. Work is still on, even though the people who were out of country have been there for about a week while they should have been quarantined.

Church wise things are getting set up for online streaming/rescheduling. Public ministry has been modified to by phone/text/email. No one wants to see you at their door anyway.

I seriously don't want to be responsible for anyone dying.

So far we are okay. 2 cases a few towns over but they were on a cruise... I am frustrated at the toliet paper mania. I was really worried about it but our town recently got a dollar general so that helped. Everyone cleanef out walmart but left my DG alone. I really hope they don't cancel school, my kids will riot.

Up date: was at the store tonite and there out of everything here now also. Schools closed for two weeks. I'm not worrying about it. I may even cough when I go to stores so nobody comes around me. I'm sure it would work cause I do it as people are coughing and snaughting and sneezing. But really I'm not concerned about it. Regular colds kill every day but someone thought it should have a name cause its bigger kind of cold. So I guess a cold is a cold and not made a big deal out of even when you die from one. That's just my opinion. How many people die each year from a common cold but they dont make a big deal over it , now how many has died from the coronavirus. Probably not as many yet by far.. I dont know about the rest of you but I have plenty of rags and a washing machine. I'm good to go. I got chicken and veggies growing. The world can freak out about how to while there butts , I'll be enjoying my coffee just like every morning and still whipping my butt. Witch is more sanitary than just some tissue....

That's all you can do. What did we do before this was all available anyway. With all this and the city's freaking out is enough for me I wanna be off grid totally with in ten yrs. I dont want uncle Sam taxing my toilet paper. Or a city code in my butt. This world is getting off the hook and people are just getting nuttier. Lol

I for one am sick and tired of the media whipping the public into a panic.
Regular flu is much more deadly....wash your hands and keep people at arms length.

Yes I believe that. I pray my grand parents dont even catch a cold. But we will never know the real number of deaths I believe it's much higher than there telling us. But a cold will kill the older people just the same. I just think if they had a name for a cold then it would be the same way with everyone freaking out. I'm just saying. It gets a name and people go nuts. No name and it's not important. Our government sux and always will. We have had shots for our animals for how long now for this coronavirus, mandatory shots. Now how didn't they ever thing it could make it to humans. Come on , mad cow , and many other things we can catch from animals. And they thought to save the animals and it never popped into there minds this could spread also. Just something to think about. It's not gonna stop my day or bother my life style.
