When i moved to the mainland ten years ago, i started raising a farm flock with the intent of breeding my own strain of rose comb red sexlinks
im intersted in rosecomb RIR & RIW, production reds, buckeyes, columbian rocks, Dels, columbian wyndottes, Lt. sussex and light brahmas.
right now i'm down to a buckeye pair, a barnvelder hen, a columbian wydotte hen, two pair of buckeye X production red X barnvelder cross young birds and 8 or so production red layers. the young birds are free range and the layer flock is pened about half the time depending on work and weather.
