anyone else having this problem?
is there medication I can give him to solve it?
seriously though i have to stop now....
When we first started talking about chickens we were going to get FIVE max. Five, yes FIVE. Five little buff orpingtons that was the plan yep. Oh but then we found out about green eggs, oh my goodness you can get green eggs? how novel! Ok maybe 1 of those too.... But then goodness didn't you know that Barred Rock are good bug eaters? Oh well add one of those then by all means. Then I had to go and read a book about chickens and see a beautiful picture of a pair of Salmon Faverolle pullets oh how I yapped on and on about the beauty of their feathery feets and unique look. When we went to get the first set of chicks we came home with EIGHT (DH is really a softie even though he growls). We lost one little chick and even he was sad and in his softy growlyness he said "get two more" Oh well now we're up to NINE. Then he found a Salmon Faverolle breeder... Oh dear, 11..... Yesterday I picked up a gold laced cochin and a blue andalusian to console myself that my dear darling beautiful Easter Egger rooster is going to go live at a friends house with more property and no neighbors to be bothered by crowing.
He's stopped calling me honey, darling, baby, or dear and now I'm just crazy chicken lady or chicken mom.
heh...
