Huck is Home! Pics!

The breeder is retaining stud rights to him until he can be tried on sheep. If she likes him she will collect him and then we can neuter him. I'm not interested in making puppies! There are more knowlegable people doing that.

He is called a red merle.

There are only 5 people in this world that know what we paid and I'm keeping it that way, LOL!

He is awsome and obviously out of some great lines. Are you going to work him or will he be a pet? With those lines I will assume he will be a working dog. Good Luck with him and what a nice addition to the family for Christmas. I love blue eyes on both animals and people! Only on horses with very dark surrounding hair or then they have that pink thing going on which I do not like...lol Again lots of luck with him and thanks for the pictures, he really is beautiful.

Gorgeous! Aussies are on my list of possible next breeds (long time from now), just not sure yet I want to deal with all the hair, and that one is just to adorable! And love the red merle, I'll probably try to rescue a double merle if I deside to get one. And of course big fan of the blue eyes! But I really like the blue eyes on animals, my Iris (dane) is blue eyed, two blue eyed cats, blue eyed farret (although her's are very dark), 3 blue eyed goats, and my horse has a blue eye, I DO love the blue eyed horses!

My pony also has a partial blue eye (looks like a blue eye w/ a brown thumb print in the middle), and we (she lives at my mom's house) have an aussie mix with pretty aussie blue eyes!

I'm a sucker for a blue eyed pup, and I've always been crazy about aussies! And don't worry about the price, not counting me there is only one person (well two if you count her breeder) that knows how much I paid for my Chinese Crested.

The breeder is going to test him on sheep at about 6 months. We aren't interested in showing him - but she might be. I don't want him working our goats as it's stressful and they're scared enough of dogs as it is. Our horses don't respect dogs - so it would be dangerous for him to work them. SO, his job is working with my DH. Pet. Shame, huh?! Oh, well!

Haviris - good for you for wanting to adopt a deaf dog. Breeders really should know better than to breed merle to merle anymore. And, yeah - those blue eyed horses need an advocate, too! LOL I've seen ONE in my lifetime that wasn't a total offense to my preferences. It was a SSH - minimal tobiano - with a solid black head and blue eyes. I have no idea how those eyes were blue, but it was kinda neat looking. Wouldn't own one, though. Spooky.
