I had the same problem - two "Delaware" chicks that turned out to be Cornish X (a type of meat bird). I searched back for my thread about it, but, the photo's I posted are not longer available. For me, it was obvious from before 2 weeks of age that these two chicks were "different". If you do a search for pics pf Cornish X, maybe you can identify your bird. It sounds like there is nothing genetically wrong - she's just a different breed than you were told.
