I will take another photo and post it, but I went out tonight and have a surprise on my 7 month old light Brahma. The lump is not warm to the touch, it’s very hard and it is her ear lobe. No marks on it look like flockmates being rough. She is a predominant hen in the flock and no one really messes with her.
I’m going to clean it up but it has some clear liquid coming out of pores, she will stay in the hospital tonight after I clean it up. Any input with large ear lobe lumps?
TIA, I will add a better photo or two for more thoughts

Wow! Is there a scratch on the lump? I wonder if it's an abscess? Does she act like it's painful? Have you check the ear canal for anything? I'll tag some folks that will be able to help.

Doesn’t act terribly painful, closes her eyes when I touch it. Feels hard and like it’s full of pus. No smell, nothing in the ear canal that I can see. The skin is starting to have issues because it’s stretched so tight- curious if I should lance and then give penicillin

The area where I circled looks like a semi healed scratch. Of course it's a possibility that I'm not seeing it clearly.

The skin is pulling and splitting because it’s so tight. I couldn’t catch her until they went to bed but I don’t recall seeing this on her yesterday, it’s possible it may have just been much smaller and she was nestled in on the center of the roost bar

If nothing else, she’s photogenic with her cone ear
