First time chicken raising. I let them out to roam today and I see THIS giant hard lump on her neck. She isn't acting sick. The rest of the flock is fine. Any tips?

It looks like her neck is crooked when she walks and when I got a closer look, it feels like a big lump and it's hard. I don't know if it's some food stuck or a muscle/bone problem.

It's dark now and my camera sucks and she wouldn't stay still when I tried to take these
I don't know. Maybe an injury of some sort. You'll have to physically examine her to see what's going on. Look for bruising (green skin), cuts, etc., beneath the feathers and under the wing along the body.

The crop is on the right side, so very unlikely it's her crop.

I'll take a more thorough look tomorrow morning but I didn't notice anything under her feathers that looked bruised or cut open. Their coop and attached run are like fort Knox to keep out racoons and hawks so I don't know how she could have hurt herself. No holes anywhere.

Chickens can get hurt on lots of things. They can fall from roosts, other birds can injure them, predator can spook them and they fly into objects...lots of things can happen.
