Huge purple lump on chicken's face

This is Betty. We got her in December of last year after she was attacked by a family member's dog and after recovering was just recently introduced to our flock. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary two days ago, but today I noticed the huge purple lump under her face. It extends to underneath her wattle. The lump itself is kind of hard and she doesn't seem to be acting any differently, so I'm not sure what it could be.

I am not really sure, but could it be a swollen bruised area on her or under her ear? Do you see a peck mark or possibly a sting? Have you seen any ticks on her? Does it feel hard or soft?

Yikes! Looks like a hematoma. Possibly from trauma or it could be a bacterial or viral infection. A vet can drain it for you.

It feels hard. I didn't see any peck marks or bites from what I could tell

I don't think so, I was with her two days ago and didn't see anything so it popped up in a pretty short amount of time

Mareks can cause tumors on chickens.
