Well some of them come hollow and you can add weight.
The one like I have that Kiki linked is already 2lbs. Idk.. but I wouldn't want any heavier than that for sure to start out with.

My mother always told me that hula hooping was the best ever exercise. I always sucked at it, but after seeing this thread this am, just ordered 2 different weighted ones. With the help of YouTube I might actually be able to make this work out.
