"You know what I did today, Girl?" Honey sneezed. "I finished reading ALL of the Keeper of the Lost Cities books. Maybe there's more like them at the library!" Shiloh stood up and gently placed Honey back in her pen. Then, she grabbed the egg basket and ran inside. Setting the eggs on the counter, Shiloh quickly scrawled a message to Laura and Sophie. Setting it on the counter, she grabbed a bag for any borrowed library books and ran out the door.
 
Skipping along the sidewalk, Shiloh adjusted the bag's strap and let her imagination run wild. What if, she thought to herself, all the books were true? Shiloh imagined an alicorn suddenly bursting though the cloud overhead. Or, a dragon climbing the roof of that building! Maybe, there could be knights on horses galloping through the street, a majestic Lion roaring, calling them to arms. Shiloh was so busy she did not notice that she had stepped into the road, nor the oncoming car headed her way.

Ella (and Safia honestly)

Ella tossed the keys onto the counter as her sister groaned and fell onto the coach. Ella laughed. "Hard day?" she laughed.
"So. Much. Homework!" Saf mumbled from the coach.
Ella laughed. "A whole lot less than Canada, I'd say for me," she replied. And a whole lot easier, with no honor classes. "Anyways, I'm gonna walk downtown to the library to do my homework. Wanna come?" Ella enjoyed studying with her friends in Canada and she knew Safia was a bookworm.
Saf looked up quickly from the pillow. "Yes! I need some new books. I just finished Percy Jackson! I can't believe that..." Ella rolled her eyes as Saf fangirled over the ending. As Saf continued, they both grabbed their backpacks and headed to the library.

(It's sorta late and I need to practice my lines for drama club and study for an English quiz on Tuesday so this is all for tonight for me :) )
 
A loud rumbling noise threw Shiloh from her daydreams. She jerked her head up and noticed she was in the middle of the road with a car heading toward her. She windmilled backwards and sprinted for the sidewalk, but it was too late. "No, no, no, no, noo!"

Saf looked around the quaint town, staring at everything with wide eyes. Ella was simply on her phone, antisocial as usual. Saf skipped along the sidewalk, waiting for Ella to catch up.
"Hurry up!" Saf joked.
Ella picked her head up for a second. "Okay..." She put her head down and then shot it up. "Oh my god, Saf, Behind you!" Ella pointed ahead, and Saf whirled around. Saf gasped.
"No, no, no, NOOO!" Saf heard as a car sped towards a little girl.

Aliya Michelle Thornton is a 15-year-old teenager who enjoys drone photography, extreme ironing and escapology. She is generous and loveable, but can also be very cowardly and a bit sneaky.

She is German. She is currently at school. She has a severe phobia of baked beans, and is obsessed with vintage dresses.

Physically, Aliya is in pretty good shape. She is very short for her age with light skin, highlights hair and brown eyes.

She lives in an upper class neighbourhood. Her father passed away 14 years ago, leaving her mother, an electrician Anita, to look after her.

Aliya goes to Middle School, where her favourite subjects are chemistry and biology. She loves her teacher Mr Paul but hates Ms Davidson whose interests include looking like a tomato.

Aliya is also know to be spicey and a bit of a snob.

Shiloh tried to escape but it was too late. Violent pain rocked her skull, and blackness overcame her.
