I agree people are the worst!

I too lock my coops....and runs.

I would absolutely be finding a way to lock everyone up. Those humans will be back. Maybe add an electric fence.....might I recommend an energizer designed for bulls?

am so sorry, agree with securing the door, and the solar motion spot light sensors are successful when you have that random first time thief to startle them. They have some nice street light size out on the market that are very bright and easy to mount on your own where you want them. Those work really well for deterring return offenders .Some are dusk til dawn and some have multiple mode settings. We have "Dark Skys" in our area so I like the ones that stay off unless the motion sensor is triggered.

I personally would share eggs, chicks, too I have no urge to see anyone starve.
I catch someone stealing though ohhhh buddy they better call the law on me because eventually i'll do it but it is going to be a little while.
Im not one to waste the opportunity to have a human chicken, not at all.

*sigh* I do think there are some broken moral compasses in this world. I do not believe that anyone is a bad person or a good person, but there definitely good and bad decisions. I wish people could sometimes think about others before they make decisions like that.

I've noticed on some other online services that people are having their full bred, very young puppies stolen from their yards. I'm talking puppies that are less than 6 weeks old and still needing to be with the mom. I wonder if all the animal theft going on isn't more of a new sort of theft operation. One where people are stealing them only to turn around and sell them on FB or the sort to make a profit. Just a thought.

Let's face it, majority of humans are of low IQ, they probably thought because of this pandemic we are going through...... that we are somehow supposed to act in a certain way, like in the movies. It's all part of this apocalypse scenario they are playing through in their heads for the thrill of it, as if it's a game to them. The human psyche never ceases to amaze me.
