Hi, my humidity in incubator is sticking at 80%, which is the same as the wether forecast says. I have trays of rice in there but isn't making a difference. I was wondering if salt would make a difference or would it damage the eggs, probably wouldn't do machine any favors. If I wedge lid open the humidity goes up half a degree. So think my wet bulb is working ok. Any suggestions

Hmm, can you get a dehumidifier to run in the same room with it?

Also can you get some sweet PDZ? It's stuff for horse stalls but it's made to draw the moisture out of things and would probably help dry things up in there too. Just don't let it touch the eggs because it may sap the moisture from them.

Hi. We live in portugal on a very small solar system so running a dehumidifier is probably out of the question but will look at power ratings. The other stuff is probably out of the question as trying g to get hay hear is a hard job. I'm going to try charcoal as they use it in shipping containers to dry up moisture. Will post how it goes.
