To all of you who worry about the correct humidity readings....here is the answer and it works 100%. It is called Caliber III Digital Humidity Temperature Gauge. Does NOT have to be calibratedever and is guaranteed for 5 years ZX circuit technology prevents error readin, accurate to +- humidty. This is amazing and it WORKS.
I bought it on E Bay for 17.00 free shipping.

Another really good one is called Madelaine. It is very precise with the temp and humidity as it is meant to be for a humidor. You can find the better temp/hygrometers at your local tobacconist shop. They may be a little bit on the pricey side (ours was $32CAN), but it is well worth the money.

Ok people save your money. The reptile thermometer/hygrometer set at Petco is just about perfect. Hygrometer calibrates (from several members) between 74-76%. You really cannot get much more accurate than that.

It is so funny the different opinions. I think these companies make some good ones and throw in a few lemons now and then. Some people swear by some of them. I ordered a reptile thermometer year before last that was supposed to be good, but wasn't. I just ordered that Brinsea digital thermometer that is supposed to be good. I can't get the battery cover to stay on, so it goes off and on, off and on. I think I will just tape that battery in there. Quality control is what they all need... good quality control. : ) I guess it gives us something to spend money on.... looking for that elusive "all good" hygrometer and thermometer. lol

I love mine and it is right on par with the reptile one, I picked it over others as this one is used for expensive cigars and those people are pretty picky...Today is my lock down day!
