Two very large bucks in my freezer. We usually put away 5-6 deer, but we never even saw a deer during rifle season. The weather turned really bad, and I think they all "yarded up" someplace other than here.

I'm probably done hunting until turkey season.

I didn't have a lot of time to do much hunting this fall but we have a 3 day gun season that starts the day after Christmas so I'm going to hit it hard for three days and see what I can do.

I just found out what my Christmas present is! A few years back I bought a very beautiful custom built 220 swift. I shot it once and found out the chamber had not been "finish reamed." The reamer was going to cost about $100 or so, consequently the gun was set aside and has sat there for a few years. Hubby found a reamer and ordered it for me for Christmas. Now that gun will be done in plenty of time for prairie dogging in May.

Time.....time....time.....where has it gone? I wanted to go so bad this year, but I guess that is not enough. I guess I need to be more devoted, but work and time change has almost ruined it for this year. I have a few place I can go......I will try them after Christmas.

I got a new gun for my birthday TWO years ago and haven't got to hunt with it yet, because out here deer license are a RAFFLE and I haven't got picked.

thats it for waterfowl only went out once.

i got my first deer this year too, a really nice doe she was really big
