deer in late Jan here yes. bow starts first weekend in Sept, gun the 3rd weekend in Oct threw 3rd in Jan I think it is. Then it's that aweful 2 month stretch til turkeys come in


like I said on the pigs though, year round!! 24-7

DH and I got some nice bucks on Ft Jackson Yesterday 9 pt 198lb and 138lb 8pt. We might do some hog hunting in jan.atfer we get some deer in the frz. here.

I saw a decent 7 pt Saturday, but was way too young so I let him go. So far just him and a good 8pt, but the same deal with him, too young. They are starting to move a bit better now so shouldnt be long. The 7 that came in Saturday spent about 5 minutes working a scrap over pretty hard, funny as could be to watch him act like he was a big boy, knowing those I posted pictures of are in there with him, they'd break him in half hahaha

I liek my huntign in tn I am allowed 3 does a day and 3 bucks for the year. Does are so plentiful i like to get a couple a year.

Holy crow! Wow, they must be very populous there. Here, we are lucky to get a doe permit via lottery system, and so when we take a deer we try to make it last all year...!

Ft. Jackson 1 buck 1 ether sex and 3 does 2 more deer in the bow area so that is 7 deer per person.We hunt there because it 15 min away from the house. I think no limit on bucks in richland county.
