hunting

I'm SOOO ready for hunting season. But archery doesn't even start until the end of November.

Gives me time to practice though I suppose.

Did someone say "hunting"?? Yeah, I do it from time to time....My wife gave me a shirt that said"this marriage has been temporarily interrupted to bring you the hunting season". Gotta love her. Living room wall in the pic, even more of a reason to love her.

Don't for a minute think I don't appreciate her, she is my life. I bought her a Yamaha V-star 1100 that she rides to work just about ever day. I think she likes it just a little bit...

Bow string is all waxed up, bow sighted in, ready to go gig one or two or three or however many i can get..... yeee haaa!!!!!

My dad likes to go bow hunting. He likes the privacy and the challenge. I'm not quite strong enough to be able to kill anything with a bow yet except for maybe the target!

I also like to go along with him just to watch the deer and stuff.

My bow is probably 25 lb draw. It's not hard, but if I do it all day, it gets tireing. But then again, I haven't shot it in about a year so I might be a lot stronger.

I'm ready. Small game opens Sept. 15th. I can go out & sit with my daughter on Sept.25th as it is Youth hunter weekend for Deer. I need to wait myself until Oct. 1 for Archery season to open. In the waiting period though I am teaching hunter safety education classes. I have 2 more left this year, Aug 28 & 29 then Sept. 11 & 12.

I'm ready I have a bear tag for WI. it opens Sept.8 I'm going with the bow this time around. It took me 8 years to get this tag and there are alot of bears in WI. right know. Had the cameras out the last few weeks and got hundreds of pics. The deer population in the area I hunt in is really down with all the wolves. Here is a pic from one of my baits.
