(more than I can have in the space available)

Although, at least muscovy would be worth the effort to put in the freezer.

But seriously, if anyone is intersted in acquiring some runners in 2 years about 8 hours north of the Tampa Bay area, please let fisharescary know.

Though I am getting to the point of offering them for free to BYC people who can pick up. I may have to go to a swap and then I will at least want to try to make gas money since there are no swaps very close. The ducklings are getting very nice looking. I wasn't sure what they may end up like with all the different colored adults.

We are heading to Ocala Sept 3rd for Nava's swap. If you still have ducklings by then maybe we can meet and they can go up there with us.

That would be awesome. I've heard of another in Plant City or Lakeland which is closer but I'm waiting to hear if they are having them. I will PM you in the next few days, I have gotten so little interest locally that I think a swap will be best.

I have someone coming in the morning to look ( I think they may be for food but since that is what I wanted Muscovy for, who am I to judge). I'm just glad I was able to sell my adults, who I raised, to non-food homes.

you figureout how to ship the runners here and I will ship you frozen muscovys. just kidding I can't imagine how you would ship almost full size ducks

Certainly could but would cost an arm and a leg. The big breeders do it. I don't think its the shipping logistics, I think its cost. I cannot imagine what shipping would be. Overnight, a couple pounds, oversize box, etc.

Hurray someone came to look at the ducklings and actually bought 4!!!!!

Yay. 8 to go.

Awe! I wish I was closer. I want some runners. But it might be a good thing you arent. Lol! I dont need any more ducks. But I really do wish you where closer I would have taken them anyway.

I too wish you were closer. sigh. I would be SO much happier selling them to BYCers instead of craigslist people. I've been saying, no you can't keep them on a pond all the time. They do need shelter. No, you probably can't buy food at a pet store. Then its here is some food to get started with. Call me or email with any questions.
