Can she sneak them into a camp ground like rent a KOA cabin if she keeps them in cages? May be rent an ajoining cabin???
My daughter told me a few minutes ago that she will update me this evening. The girl has at least 3-5 boas (not sure what kind) that are 5-6 feet long, several black bearded dragons, some iguanas, and of course smaller snakes.

Personally, I like snakes and have had several as pets. That said, even I would have at minimum "a little heart attack" if I came face to face with one of these in my bathtub.

found I have more fear as a adult then when I was young
I think that is one of the "downfalls" of growing up. :D

There are things I used to do that I would not do now. Like riding horses across railroad bridges (on a working railroad). Or jumping off the farm sheds. Or riding two horses at one time. Or - well, you know what I mean. :D

As an adult, I tend to think more of the "what ifs" than the actuality of my actions.

Also makes me a very defensive driver, too.

I used to climb to the top of a 100 foot pine tree. I'm afraid of heights, I get nervous climbing a ladder now. lol

Stuff like this.. "dramatic weather reporters".. upsets me more than the storm. I know it will be bad regardless

Fear is necessary to get people to listen and evacuate. Fear saves lives, kinda the point of fear.

News and weather drama all about ratings ....and some weird ego thing.
Can't stand it and rarely use TV news for info source because of it.

We had a weatherman in the 60's and 70's who would pray novenas (9 days of prayer in a row), that NOLA would get a major hurricane each hurricane season. He wanted to be like that Jim guy on the weather channel. Pretty sick in my opinion.

One of my many jobs growing up dealt with construction, especially roofs. I could paint hot tar as well as any one and I have put down my share of shingles on steep pitched roofs.

Not anymore.

It's all I can do to get on a ladder. Geesh, sometimes I have problems driving across the mountains if I can see too far. lol. One time on the Skyline Drive, I had to suddenly detour off one of the access roads because my sense of vertigo got too bad.

Yet I don't have a problem with high rise elevators or being on top of tall buildings.

Going across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge is an experience all it's own. I don't mind that so much, but I pay close attention to being in my lane. Long time ago, my brother and I would both take a detour to go over one of the big bridges if a certain sister was with us. She would lay in the floor! (Yes, it was mean!) :D

The weather observer in PR posted about a half hour ago. She apparently lost power yesterday but wind and rain "not too bad" Right now looks like 50Mph gusts according to radar.

That is good news. Now, if @theuglyduckling could just let us know she is ok.
