Since this thread has taken a culinary turn...I've been kicked off of it by my husband (the joke is I married him because he can cook.....I don't cook....so I'd starve if it wasn't for him) who is enjoying reading all the cooking posts....especially about gravy. He's German and cooks Pennsylvania Dutch. I still can't get used to some of the dishes...I don't do cabbage. So a big thank you to all! He's been trying out some of the recipes posted and I'm loving it!!!
I get it, although my hubby has found the number email alerts amusing so far. Just figured out how to end the email alerts. LOL Going to have to start getting a few things done at some point, before this becomes a bone of contention, even though he has been bugging me for years to join. Perhaps that's why I haven't heard anything neg. so far.

Is he a member on here too?

The real glass for the real drink looks like the lantern top of a hurricane lamp, and it is rather large. Wish I had a picture of one so you could see just how big they are.

I collect Hard Rock Café ones....
this one isn't mine... but still...

No while he is very helpful and approving of my keeping chickens, our first was a cockrel foundling, that my neighbor's kids found and their Dad was complaining that he wanted to get rid of it to my husband. I walked up on the conversation and begged like a five year old for that bird!! We had been talking about and researching keeping chickens in our backyard for years. So I ended up getting my way. After I found this site he kept telling me I should join, it took a few years, partly cause I wasn't sure I had much to contributate. But now I am very glad to be with all of you, nice to be able to interact, instead of just looking in like some creepy window peeper!!! LOL
