Oh No! If I make mess or am responsible for mess I clean it up. Much less painful. That said, parents cleaned up mess letting me off the hook:oops:
NO NO I meant to tell her to get out of the house and make some money to fix the fireplace work.
Which is probably just as bad as telling her to clean!

O great she is gonna hate me when I show up to the "party" now.
I take it back..don't tell her.

Now's a good time to throw her in the kitchen.
Just make sure she has an apron on so she doesn't get dirty.
Did this with my daughter at about that age, sat her on a bar stool in the kitchen to help. Mostly we learned what everything was at that time. Now she is 14 and very self sufficient! It doesn't hurt to involve them early, even if they are just watching.
Grampy, rocks!!!

I used a mix of fresh ground wheat and semolina, made the hole in the center and cracked our eggs into it and she went for the gusto. I'm really not certain how far the flour flew--but think she gave pretty much everything in the living room and kitchen a generous coating. When we were done, mom's only comment was that her noodles were better than mom's. Of course, I've been making home made pasta since I was 8.;)

Edited to add: The kitchen, living room and dining room are in the A-Frame part of our house. Dining room is separated by the big see through fireplace (which is broken and needs $10K to fix).
You can have the $10k, if I win the lotto!!!

We really need a LOL option as well as the likes. Cause I just keep laughing
ME TOO!
I swear if you all keep this up I will turn into one of this people they have to tear down the wall of the house to get out.
I can not get anything done!
