So I measured the distance from my house to my new duck pond.
It is right at one mile.

I might have found a new way to exercise.
Walk there to feed my ducks each morning.

But that darn goose.
What if he chases me all the way home?

:barnie

You'd especially hate it if he followed you home and moved in with the chickens:lau

Off topic sorry, but my poor daughter has a date to her first homecoming dance Saturday and now they are saying we will be getting tropical storm force winds Saturday am. How long do Boutonieres stay good in fridge, in case they postpone until next weekend? LOL Poor child she is going to stroke if this storm stays on this path!

Was going to say about 3 days:(

Yay on the baby duck! You should snatched him and bring him home lol

Not ALL geese are mean. My boys aren't ;)

Agreed, he's an African. Looks like my Sunshine. Here are Sunshine and Lollipop. Both boys. One African, one Chinese. Don't mind the paint on Lollipop's bill. He was "helping" me paint lol

Just grab him and holds his mouth shut. He'll learn lol

Get muscovies! Mine are happy to free range and don't really even like to swim much. They were may in the brooder but once they were outside, all messes stopped. They live quite happily in the coop with the chickens.

My ducks moved out of their shelter and in with the chickens:confused: Oh, and here's a good thread that talks about Rouens and mallards.

Please don't tell my ducks I used some of their peas in my shrimp scampi

Yes, I kind of figured I would end up buying two if the storm comes this way. Oh well. Off to be the official driver for Ursuline Academy girls in the Brother Martin High School play. LOL Will check in later, not too many pages, please!

Um...Sunshine and Mr. Pop look the exact same to me.
Which ones if the African and which one is the Chinese?
How are they different?

Sunshine is African. He's thicker, heavier, lower body, blue/grey eyes and has a dewlap. His knob is different also. Lollipop is Chinese. He's more lightweight, has a white band on his chest, longer and thinner neck, brown/gold eyes smoother looking knob.

Okkkkkk. I am so far behind, it's not even funny.

I am supposed to tell everyone that @JRNash says hi to everyone! He's making plans to build a house, but doesn't think he can start it until December. He has been super busy working and has not even gotten back to his house. He needs to go because son and wife have informed him that up to 40 birds are there - NOT all his. They have been feeding them. :)
