Baby girl (and attached boy) came in from school and is at the High School's football game. I'm waiting up for them and cooking what was supposed to be spaghetti sauce, but too much chicken stock turned it into soup. Trying to dry it out some before they get back.

I heard that a job interview at IKEA involves you walking into a room with a pile of parts and a guy saying, "hi, make a chair."

I've only been in Ikea one time I didn't like it one little bit. Getting the furniture would be an ordeal forget about putting it together.

Yup...they fail to mention to bring a moving van and crew with you....you should have seen hubby and myself trying to get a couch into a Toyota Rav.

I went to IKEA and bought some stuff for Brother's family (at their request) and wound up putting it together for them. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. I wasn't terribly impressed with the construction or the prices. Neat shapes - yes.

No....and as far as I know, no one filmed us....but you never know. You might want to YouTube and try something like "Delaware couple in Philly tries to load a couch into a Toyota"....or something like that. I'm sure it will pop up. If nothing else it will probably show you the strip club right next to the Ikea.

I got a sink cabinet from there and two sinks "hubby killed the first sink is a fit of installation rage" it lasted the five years we were in that house.I absolutely hated the store though no help at all for anybody! And it smelled like bad food and preesed wood in there yucky!

I bought 2 dresser from them about 15 years ago they died in like 2 years never went back now it is like 120 miles a ways
