Looking at them for a few days is an option?!?

And I got in trouble. Apparently, I wasn't this excited when she told me we were pregnant... It's been 2 decades, can we move pass that???

Anyway, we have eggs.
Yes you can look at them for a whole week!
I would go to the fridge and take them out and hold them and just smile...put them back up for a little while then repeat.

WOOT WOOT!

Ok, not to pick on city folk... I spent 20 years in the swamp. I got up this morning and when the sun decided to show itself, it was an amazing view... The clouds were really low and the fog on the mountain tops rising. It looked as thought the tree tops at the top of the mountain were in the clouds. I really wish I had DW's skill at photography as it was beautiful. I don't remember ever looking to the sky when I lived in the city. Since I've moved to the country, morning skies are so cool. It could be that I was just "too busy" when living in the swamp, but I really enjoy sunrise in my little mountain get away.

What swamp are you referring to?

I'd duck hunt in Big Pasture, Cameron Parish, La. Watch the sun coming up. Watch the mists burn off. Watch the clouds turn from grey to blue then erupt in vivid pinks as the sun slowly made its way over the horizon. Watch the mosquitos form attack battalions and the birds in the swamp do their thing. Happy memories. Pictures won't do it justice because they are so small. You can't smell the air. Feel the wind. Thank you for sharing @rjohns39 ! Time for a trip to the swamp at sunup.

Once when duck hunting, the birds weren't flying. I sat and watched a seagull trying to eat a large shrimp, maybe a 10 count, for 2 hours. The seagull would work it's way to one end of the shrimp, get poked by the sharp thing. Then go to the other end and get poked. Repeat for 2 hours. When the ducks aren't flying, it was educational. The seagull finally got tired of watching us watch him eating the same shrimp and drifted off over the swamp grass and reeds. I wonder if it ever ate the shrimp.
