I shared a funny story I heard with the NY state thread. I hope they have a good sense of humor over there.

Guy interviewed on the news from Houston. Walking around taking pics of his neighborhood and the 4-8 ft water covered roads and homes. Said he was sending them to his bosses in NY who thought he was being a slacker by not getting into his office at the nearby Omni hotel. They seemed to think he was exaggerating the difficulties he was encountering.

Unfortunately, traffic reports & road closures are saying if you do evacuate, you may not make it far.

Seems better to stay put rather than risk everything. South side (@KikisGirls be safe) is almost land locked.

Maybe so out there...
There is a wild life reserve out in that area.

Fort Bend is pretty much ALL in the mandatory evacuation zone.
My brother included but they are staying put.
