Tons of tornado warnings, moving from 70 to 90 mph. Keep popping up left and right from the east and heading to the west.

Stay safe, prayers are continuing.

It's hard knowing when things are happening over there, with the time differences... I just hope it isn't that bad and passes over as quickly and non-destructively as it can.

The news said it's been downgraded, and it's moving more quickly, so that's good, I think?

Down graded and fast moving is always good news with a hurricane situation.

I hope Connie's alright, still yet to see the worst of it. But the good news, once she does it should be pretty much done with. My thoughts are with all involved and hoping for a speedy recovery.

Jose is a Cat4 at the moment.

Looking at the tracking, what's the chances it could make a big circle and come back again? Just read the Leeward Islands may get it - like they need another Hurricane like Irma.

Remember when I asked this question a couple days ago? Not saying it will become a hurricane that comes back, but it is certainly making a circle that could.

Yea, the extended GFS on Myfoxhurricane.com showed it swinging around and headed towards New England... but anybody up and down the entire Eastern Seaboard is at risk. SIGH. Can Hurricane season be over now?

I just told my brother - "it's NOT NICE to dismiss Mother Nature". These hurricanes haven't followed the projections very well at all.

Again, not saying Jose could become more than a bad storm system short of being a Hurricane, but he won't be the first Hurricane that re-strengthened and caused more problems including damage and even death.

Or he may just fade out into obscurity.

In the meantime, I'm keeping an eye on him. lol

Agreed they are not minding very well. Jose is over very warm water so anything could happen. There is also another disturbance out near Africa that could turn into something .

Just heard from my sister this morning... She's waiting for her relief to show up so she can go home and see how their house looks, but the guy can't get to his car. One assumes from trees and such. I can't imagine how long it would take to figure out how to get to the hospitals down there with the flooding and road closures.
