There are currently 137,000 totaled cars at Royal Purple Raceway (Baytown track) and they are paying Seth Angel $10 a day per car. Pretty good money…..

The N.H.R.A. drag strip in Baytown,Tx. offered to let all of the flooded cars from hurricane Harvey be stored there. It looks like theirs going to be lots of insurance claims.

We've got tow trucks doing recovery work from Massachusetts. This is right down the road from the house. Tow trucks coming and going. Full and empty as all the cars are shuffled. Car cleaners are there cleaning what can be salvaged. I watched it fill. But the aerial shots!

Prayers for all that were affected by hurricanes. I see what it has done here. Puerto Rico got the wind with the water. Twice.

I love the taste of coffee but hate the way it knocks me down. I have WAY more entry workout caffeine! I'd drink decaf but our percolater broke and we're having a hard time finding instant decaf lol.

Make coffee essence to keep in the fridge.
Soak a cup of coffee in a quart of warm water overnight. Strain and jar the strong coffee and store in the fridge. Fill a cup of water and add teaspoons of essence to make it suit your taste...heat in microwave. Good made with regular or decaf coffee.

I'm only 33,so I guess it looks like I'll be the one sitting outside the club pouting while everyone else is inside having fun

My BiL, who was raised in Caguas PR has vid from somebody out of there, downed trees and power lines... right across the high way. Its a beautiful and mountainous region of PR. My BiL still hasn't heard from his family down there, but then again, we all know its pretty bad.

LOL Penny! I'm a '61 baby, so I'm 55 until December. So, I guess we can be honorary members of the '40's club, or start a '50's club! It's all good.

I like this club. Can I be a menber? Or do you need references and stuff? Will I be hazed? (more than we do here to each other already?)
