Hurricane Advice

folks you'll find this funny... Grand daughter (18 months old) threw a full blown tantrum when she was informed she had to leave the pasture and the birds.:lau:lau:lau My DIL didn't find humor in my reaction.:lau:lau:lau
I have thrown my fair share of tantrums today too.

My dictator just informed me that I didn't cut his apple right.
I handed him the knife and walked away before I threw another tantrum.

Can we blame @KikisGirls for keeping this thread going? Yes, I do believe she is the instigator. Although, I MIGHT have contributed a weansy bit. It did help save what little bit of a mind I have left during the hurricane. Especially when the crazy lady tells me to go away, in a very loving way, of course.

So random question, when I tell crazy lady that I brought home a dead bird for supper, why does that annoy her? I said "I got chicken" and she wanted to know why we needed more. <yeah, right?!?!> Where is that fine line between communication and "I have no idea what you are talking about?"
I will refuse this blame.

It's all of us in this together.

Yes! I laughed so hard I thought I would pee myself. She's home with the boys all day, every day and she knows tantrums = immediate bed time. Not so for mom... She know's whose number she has.:smack
:highfive:

My grand dad pointed out that no one trusted grand parent advice and no one was interested in great grandparent advice. Now let's think about this for a moment... Parents are all armatures. Grandparents are not much better. Great grand parents have been around the block a couple of time--but no one is interested in their input. First calls I made when my grandson was born was to grandpa... "How do I become a good grandparent?

I'm ready for a pee in the pants moment today.

I'm trying to think of something witty and funny to say/report but all I can do is dwell on the fact it's hot and humid out and I just got bitten by a zillion mosquitoes taking care of the chickens for the evening!!!
