folks you'll find this funny... Grand daughter (18 months old) threw a full blown tantrum when she was informed she had to leave the pasture and the birds.:lau:lau:lau My DIL didn't find humor in my reaction.:lau:lau:lau

As I get more comfortable admitting I have chickens, for sanity or lack thereof (therapy chickens), I'm amazed how supportive and jealous everyone is. Nope, not as hard as I thought. Neato mosquito!

I will refuse this blame.
It's all of us in this together.

Denial - a very fine state. You have lots of company. Unlike Delaware.

I'm trying to think of something witty and funny to say/report but all I can do is dwell on the fact it's hot and humid out and I just got bitten by a zillion mosquitoes taking care of the chickens for the evening!!!

Isn't it always hot, humid and full of mosquitos? What am I missing?

Yes I'm whining. If you saw my legs which look like I have chicken pox....you'd whine too.

SHOW US! I dare you!

If you take an antihistamine with your evening tequila, the swelling will be gone by tomorrow AM, I guarantee! And you won't whine anymore tonight! Legs? what legs? I'm floating! And did you know, tequila when mixed with Mountain Dew tastes just like koolaid after the first liter? That second liter went quick! I'm floating! Make it stop!!!

@Ursuline Chick - strike 2 for the Cherry Moonshine. Fruit juice addition just makes it taste like Robitussin. I'm open to suggestions on this one. And nothing caffeinated, it's almost bedtime at the old folks home.

What is your number one go to for left over chicken? Thanksgiving is right around the corner!

Gumbo, chicken soup and sandwiches are already on the list. Looking for something creative like chicken n mushroom frittata. Gluten free diet, so dumplings are out. I'm not a fan of soggy bread.
