Have you all gotten Targets yet? They are taking over Walmart around here. Much safer too!

When we bought our house there was a 2 lane..ok well a 4 lane freeway near by...but it was still a new freeway.
They are in the process of widening this same freeway to 8 lanes right now.

Where we live it used to be more country-fied.

Yep...same number of those..and they are safer than the Walmarts.
I wonder why?
I think it is because the prices are a little higher.

I don't know GF ways of cooking. So I don't know what to recommend.
I wonder if Mr. Chef knows any?

Hubby answered not so much chicken....but for turkey it's turkey corn noodle soup. He does make his own stock out of left over chicken. There are a lot of containers of it in the freezer. I guess if we have a zombie apocalypse I'll live off of soup.

I believe the Target nearest to me is pretty much on the level of Penny's, Montgomery Wards, and Murphy's Five & Dime.

Ok...I'm old enough to remember Montgomery Wards and we still have a J.C. Penny at the Christiana Mall....but I remember Woolworth's and National 5&10 - not familiar with a Murphy's.

I did spend my summers as a child on MD shore across from Chincoteague and Assateague island so Roses were big back then.

It was... up until the point where my eldest cousin came of age and got caught smoking...
