That size can also be wrapped in news paper and will slowly ripen, sugar content won't increase but still better than store bought. They can be fried or pickled as well. Or you could gamble and setup a cold frame.

Might be ok, looks like just the tops were frosted

I have a volunteer that popped up in my broccoli bed. I'll be putting out low tunnels and a few weeks, still not sure what to do with him but might transplant into a pot, bring in the house and hand pollinate.:confused:

Actually....I don't anymore, hair has gone almost completely gray :hitso now I dye it blond. Everyone in family is gray/white by age 50.
Blonde is even better..Wild and Crazy! :woot:yesss:
