Are they QUIET, weird noises? I can handle weird :)lau). It is the loud stuff that makes people wonder. ;) For example, when the 100 pound mutt steps on the 10 pound Chihuahua, the Chihuahua makes loud and weird noised for a while. :lau

Unfortunately, we spent a fortune setting for chickens. Setting up for another bird would be foul. And the two shouldn't be mixed.
mine are in a chinchilla cage and the boys can make loud noises but not too often

let me see if i can find a video (just remember i dont have sound when i post- so i cant be sure if it is the 'right' noise

Dispose of or keep for yourself?

Dispose. I melt them down. Cast them into cylinders. Place them on top of explosive charges. Then bury them in a large mound of dirt 50-100 yards away in a safe and controlled manner. I have a specialized set of tools to accomplish this and I'm licensed.

Seriously, I have paper. I couldn't ask anyone else to go through this expense. :D

It is a public service because I'm that great of a person.:D

Well, today was the day to upset the pecking order. New kids (RIWs and tween turkeys) got released into general population. RIW's had already decided who they were going to challenge and went right for it. The whole pasture was in an uproar for a good hour... I stayed with them the first hour and then checked on them about ever hour after. Last check, everyone's in their own little groups lounging around the pasture... Success!:wee

Today was integration day here too. My little ayam cemani babies are enjoying their first day with the rest of the flock. No squabbles or anything though. They're sticking close to the coop and each other :)

For the RIWs, I got eggs from two sources, no way to tell which is from which, but there is definite size difference between the two groups. BTW, the 10 week old RIW cockerel is now #2 in the pecking order. And even though he's very aggressive with the ILs, Del's and smaller turkeys, he comes right up to us and will eat out of our hand and purr when petted. If you can't tell, I'm liken this breed.:yesss:
