The em dash is a forgotten piece of punctuation. Even grammar sites are now mistakenly publishing en dashes in their place.

The technically illicit double- and triple-taps on the hyphen to create the dashes are what most use since copying and pasting them is a pain.

LOL! It's cause I'm used to typing in word and -- converts to em, while " - " translates to en. I'm fundamentally a lazy typer.

dislike and hate are different. It's not like I puke if I hear an Elvis song, I would rather just change the radio station or hit the skip button. Some of the early stuff is okay!
