Dear Travel Partner,

We would like to inform you that we were asked by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to charter Carnival Fascination through January 2018 to further assist with hurricane relief efforts in the U.S. Virgin Islands. We want to do everything we can to support the recovery efforts so have agreed to do so. As a result, Carnival Fascination sailings from October 15, 2017 through January 28, 2018 have been cancelled.

Our ships have been sailings through the Caribbean for more than 45 years and we have many friends and partners in the region. We were saddened to see the impact that was caused in some destinations as a result of the recent hurricanes. As previously announced, the Carnival Corporation family has committed up to $12 million in financial support for the Caribbean and other areas affected by the storms, in addition to chartering Carnival Fascination to further assist.

Please accept our sincere apology for this disruption to your clients' affected by this change. We thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,
Carnival Cruise Line

I used to dye... been getting grays since I was in my mid 20s. The last 3 years or so, I decided I didn't want to anymore. I ended up dying a streak in the back purple, which was fun for a while... and now I'm back to my natural color, grays and all.

I tried "natural" a couple years ago-- ugg hated it. Made me look really old. Found some more natural stuff at the health food store so use it now. The regular stuff made me cough too much--asthma trigger. :celebrate

Fires in California are devastating to watch....heart hurts for those families as lives and homes are lost.
Sister in San Carlos (San Francisco) and brother in Long Beach (Los Angeles) have checked in and are worried about friends in the fire zones.

Saw a news story on PR where a group of veteran volunteers have gone in and are carrying supplies to internal mountain areas that had not been getting assistance. Warms my heart. Hope @theuglyduckling is getting assistance.

Talked to a man in San Diego at work today he said they were fine but the fires were in the county. So sad, he was telling me things about friends in the fire ravaged areas.

God bless you, you are doing more for that boy than you can imagine with your kindness. Perhaps even saving him from a rotten life later on, when he is a man. I am sure he isn't seeing a lot of kindness at home. Poop bucket holder may be the most important job of his life!! :hugs :clap :love

Grandson or neighbor kid I missed the original post. Funny how the kindness and gentile teaching of others affects your life as you are older. I still remember a neighbor across the street (she had grandkids and I was little) showing me how to plant things and take care of a garden. I think of her every time I plant something

My parents were not gardeners. I loved being able to help her poke seeds and the ground and those turn into plants over the summer and she always cooked me samples of what those seeds grew--I didn't like okra then (do now). She was and is always a huge influence in my life. I'm certain she would like that but she was in her late 70's in the early 1960's. I can't go back and tell her.
