"too many" - is there such a thing? The bartender and I keep having this discussion. I guess I will invite the nutritionist to get another opinion.
Wait - is the nutritionist "for" or "against"? This is important.
Wait till you get a soft shell egg or shell-less egg. Blah...I no longer mind the poop after finding one of those.
Congrats!! just wait til you get some of the weird ones!!Good news!
The magic, white sorta orbs I found in the chicken coop were indeed eggs. They tasted like jalapenos and onions topped with Tony's when scrambled and cooked with jalapenos and onions topped with Tony's. After having to look closer at some phenomenal , and I do mean phenomenal, putrid poo piles, I wanted to be sure. How these girls drop these kind of phenomenal putrid poo piles, I don't want to know. I'm perplexed!
Did I tell you I got eggs? 2-1-2-1 is the rhythm. Official total is 6 magic, white sorta orbs, with 3 confirmed to be indeed eggs. I'll expect 2 this afternoon. In the nest box on top of the golf balls. If another hen wishes to surprise me, I am prepared.
I'm researching egg consistency. Are fresh eggs watery? Why are store egg more firm? Is this age related? Am I being obsessive? Is this an indication of an illness? Why do we get sick? Does whiskey work to cure everything? Oh look! A squirrel...

Our old neighbors' dog used to go after the skunks. I'd hate it in the mornings when I'd open the door and "whoosh!" skunk smell.2 summers ago was particularly bad....the smell never went away and it then was in my shed. I later discovered a decomposing skunk half under the shed.
Either the dog got it and it died trying to escape or just didn't quite make it to under the shed. I do not know how people who pick up road kill do it. I almost died (and gagged to death) moving that thing. It was heavy too!!! The new neighbors put up a fence so their dogs don't mess with the skunks....thank goodness.
Have the cat's returned?
