Someone gave one to my mom and it is so nice and heavy...perfect for cold weather sleeping!

I used cotton batting which makes it much warmer that polyester batting the bears you see are the back the top I made long to fold over true to me I have not frayed my seam's for true ragtime nor since I removed two layers of batting had 4 in it too warm have not gotten it re stitched to the body working on inseam of jeans we found for James sewing hem for him ragtime quilt 018.jpg ragtime quilt 019.jpg ragtime quilt 020.jpg
 
I know nothing about frost related stuff.

You wouldn't living where you do I traveled the US entirely showing dogs but always migrated back out here where we have mountains and it is always green... We came out of Wisconsin in 68 go back for family reunions years past thought I was always here for Ma but find my life still here and good with that.

In a couple years I'm either going to have to relearn how to use a sewing machine or enlist DILs assistance—but would like to make quilts with goose down. First I have to grow the geese.
