I get the playing like I am the grocery lady, if DD were still little I would do that, but 20 years later, when I am by myself shopping. I just get frustrated and yell at the stupid thing until the store sends a real person to see what the problem is.

Do your grocery stores provide mini size shopping carts? Our specialty grocers do. It's so cute! The kids look so serious pushing their carts with "their" groceries.

Oh...the whole opioid thing is here on the East Coast too. Delaware has this huge initiative going to stop overdose deaths. I work in Physical Rehab/Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care and we have to do these government assessments. Starting in October we have to code/report Opioid use. I'm sure after a year they'll tabulate everything and go apesh**. What do they expect? We deal with post surgical and debilitating diseases/disorders. Tylenol doesn't always cut it.

I don't take anything like that, but my husband sometimes requires them (back pain). It's like you need a federal writ just to get a week's worth in Florida these days.

I can understand why doctors are hesitant to write for too many though. I've had several of the "Pill Mill" doctors in the prison where I work on 5 year sentences for peddling the things. Don't know what the deciding point it, but apparently they didn't either. These were fairly nice people, just happened to be doctors prescribing addictive drugs.

That is just it there are always going to be abusers in anything I am 57 year old white women not exactly the picture of a druggie but maybe more and more it is
