Hurricane Advice

OMG, don't know how I missed that post. Let's hope she didn't know about the hole before she left the house. If she did know... well, maybe I don't want to know!!! :lau:lau...So did you tell her anything? Are there a lot of bushes around the park?

Very normal. Keep him in his collar. Not necessary now but leave it open and a scab will form. Then you can use a little Neosporan to keep the tissue from itching.
Did the vet use any iodine?
When we castrate bull calves, no stitches....needs to drain or possible infection can set in.
Here is what it will look like when healed completely. The excess skin will shrink up some. Red was 8 months old when he was cut...same way as your boy.

The vet told me not to put anything on it.
I have been dying to put some coconut oil on it but have not.

He had no iodine stain on him, so I am not sure.

Then just follow the vet's instructions. After it scabs, coconut oil will be comforting.
Trying to get the photo to post where I want it and having trouble....
