Busy time of year made more hectic when your children are sick!
We had to put our sweet Gracie down...so it has been a tearful past week. Hubby suggested Red needed a new companion and has encouraged me to find an older puppy to adopt. May take my time.

IMO I think you are smart to take your time. Thoughts and prayers you and your family's way.

Famous last words..."May take my time"...we have a new 3 month old female pup coming in two days....already potty trained.

I find it odd that pets can be put to rest when needed but people are forced to suffer beyond endurance!
So sorry for the loss of your pet!

okay back from taking the kid to SS office getting some nonsense they sent also went to the kitchen store looking at a new stand mixer.. I have a 30's vintage sunbeam mixmaster I have used ever since I was a kid it is bogging down starting to do any bread or cakes Was looking at kitchen aid 350.00 minimum the smaller ones are under powered.. We looked at a hamilton beach stand mixer cheap looks like thing would bend if used.... gave up went to Wally Sunbeam mixmaster 350 50.00 on sale the kitchen aid where 275 watt so bought another sunbeam mixmaster

@penny1960 , seems like you did a great job picking out your new Mixmaster, I have a Kitchenaid, which I like, but you can't beat something that lasts almost 100 years. Merry Christmas!!

I am happy with came home my old bowl is glass so is the new one both can still be used the kid and I have sensitivity to metal hate the metal bowls the others have just one of the bonus features it does also come with the dough hooks wire whisks can be bought for 9.95 will be getting this pretty soon

The dough hook is a life saver with regard to kneeding. I couldn't do without it. Sounds like a stocking stuffer to me.
